Design Context

I visited Shad Thames and took photos of where I wanted my Russian restaurant to be. I mainly took photos of the signs that were outside the restaurants, to get more of a feel of signage branding, but you can also see the area of Shad Thames in the photographs and the old warehouse buildings that the restaurants sit inside...

It was really interesting to visit this area, as I had more of a feel as to the audience that I will be aiming my work at, as well as the aesthetic that is already found within this street of cafes and restaurants. I will need to make sure that my branding suits the area, as well as following a Russian aesthetic.
